Unsolicited Praise

It always feels great when others appreciate and undestand what I was trying to accomplish with my online 2007 FCI coverage and subsequent DVD. And I already have a slew of ideas on how to make it better next year!

Here is some unsolicited praise, meaning I did not give anyone a free DVD or online access in exchange for a favorable review.

"I'd like to thank you for your coverage of the FCI WC this year. Not only have I taken great delight in watching the team jumping runs over and over :), I really think that finally some sense of what the event is all about was conveyed in your footage. In addition to super coverage of the best runs, you gave the event the prestige and character that it deserves. Great job!" Linda Mecklenburg

Sample HD video - Brit winner of Large Individual Jumpers

Here we have the Swiss Brit who won Large Individual Jumping at FCI 2007 in Hamar Norway.

This video is an example of the videos that will be available on the forthcoming Data DVD. The videos are HD (high definition) 960x496 resolution. More than double the resolution of the rest of the videos on this website. And 33% greater resolution than DVD videos.

If playback skips and stutters, that means your computer is not powerful enough to play this super awesome HD video. You could try downloading the video and playing it with VLC. VLC works much better on older computers, and I actually use it for all my video playback needs on my laptop.

If you download and install VLC, do not email me for technical support regarding it. That is beyond what I do.

Goodbye Norway - Takk!

It is time to say Good Bye to FCI 2007 and to Norway. They were an awesome host. The people in the green shirts were the best. Takk!

In the closing ceremony they treated us to some traditional music and dance. This short 1 minute video of it.

Video of Complete Opening Ceremony FCI 2007

This video is the complete opening ceremony of FCI 2007 World Agility Championships (18 minutes).

What is weird is that a few years back I watched my first FCI video done by the "German". It was the one where Christine Carpentier from France wins with this incredible dogwalk. Also on the VCR tape is all the footage of the opening ceremony and closing ceremony. And I use to think, "Why does he put that on there, what a waste. Give us more agility". But now that I've gone I think I understand.
